THE ART HOUSE GRADUATE RESIDENCY
RE-LIVE
Screen printed flyers are sited amongst others on a leaflet rack in The Art House. The flyer lures people to Re-Live, an exhibition that is a local pub. The art goer is invited to see the role of this local service through an artistic lens.

108 NAMES
Council tax or business rates payers of Wakefield are recognised on steps of The Art House; as they help fund the organisation.

WAKEFIELD TRINITY
Screen print and acrylic paint. It is inspired by a Wakefield Cathedral stained glass window of the Three Shepherds. It references Yorkshire’s wool heritage, the name of Wakefield’s rugby team and plays with the homonym, ‘conversion’.

MESSAGES TO THE CHAIR
Found item and acrylic paint made to create a means of getting messages to the Chair of The Art House Trustees.

AN ARTHOUSE GRADUATE RESIDENCY
(found book; rebound, ribbon: Great Expectations by Dickens)
This work is a reflection on The Art House’s past status as a library, but is also a comment on a new graduate’s thoughts and feelings around starting an artistic career (identity, influence, trust, status and confidence).
